2nd-Jan-2011 09:43 am - 2011 Resolutions
Since I never got around to making any resolutions for 2010, I figure I should probably do that for this year.

1. Learn to knit in color work/fair isle
2. Get my Christmas knitting done by October
(I have most of the presents picked out already so that's a start)
3. Get a new job, mostly I want to get this done before I turn 30.  I'd love to have my "real" job before then.

I can't think of anything else at the moment.  Best not to have too many resolutions lest I forget what I wanted to accomplish.

So we'll see how this goes...
When it’s cold, wet, or snowy, how do you stay fashionable?

I don't, I stay warm.
4th-Mar-2010 09:00 pm - english knitting
I'm working on making 2 pairs of socks at once on DPNs.  Ravelry link here.  And sometimes when you are knitting with 2 yarns you hold one yarn in the left and one in the right.  Now I can handle continental knitting (holding yarn in the left hand) but english knitting is driving me crazy.  It's not efficient enough for me!  So I'm going to try 2 color yarn knitting with both yarns in my left hand.  This has been a frustrating experience.  I was all cast on and ready to start knitting my ribbing, but noooooo  I can't english knit very well and messed it all up.  Needless to say, I ripped it all out already and will re-cast on at some point.
23rd-Dec-2009 06:39 pm - Christmas Presents...part 2
Pictures are taken.  Though I want to take better pictures of the scarves when I have better light.  You can't really see the colors all too well.  I will update with pictures soon.  I just have one last present to crochet!
18th-Dec-2009 09:45 pm - Christmas knitting update
I have finished a lot of projects in the last couple weeks.  I promise, on my day off, to get pictures up and to update.
29th-Oct-2009 06:29 pm - I has socks!!!
I finished my socks for my sock knitting class today.  Yes, I worked ahead.  and I figured out to make a basic pair of socks may only take a couple days.  So Yay!

Here are some pictures.

I don't have a link to the patten, as it was provided to me by my teacher.
